We have good news from Dr. Abdelmalek, the Thurston County Health Officer that gives us the green light to begin “a slow, careful, phased approach to resume in-person learning.”  (see Letter from Thurston Health Department).

What a blessing to finally have students back on campus. However, we must remain diligent in maintaining safety. For JPII, our slow, careful, phased approach will consist of bringing a few small groups from our cohorts onto campus beginning Monday, September 28th.

The entire student body will be invited to attend @Campus (returning to classrooms) beginning October 5th. The JPII COVID Education Plan outlines the mandatory details for health screening and check-in procedures we will follow.

COVID-19 safety guidelines must be met and adhered to by all who choose to come on campus.

JPII is committed to allowing students and families uncomfortable with physical attendance to continue to be an integral part of the learning community throughout this time of transition as faculty will continue to conduct live lessons from their classrooms.  You may choose to continue learning @Home.

There will be information sent via NW@JPII communication detailing the process to register your student for @Campus attendance. Students may not attend until this registration occurs. We will be utilizing the Family ID system, currently used for athletic and other registrations, to gather this information and it is the Family ID system that facilitates the daily health screening process.
