We are not a parish high school. Therefore, we strongly encourage students to actively participate in their church. Fortunately, we are surrounded by wonderful parishes and other communities of faith where our students continue to build their relationship with God.
Campus Ministry is an integral part of the educational process at Pope John Paul II High School. It is designed to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to its students and families, to build up the body of Christ in the community and to promote social justice through service to others.
While we have students who are not Catholic, our four-year religion requirement aims to help all students gain a deeper understanding of Catholic Church history, beliefs, and practices through studying theology as an academic subject.
Campus Ministry draws the entire community into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the Church. To accomplish these outcomes, the school, through Campus Ministry, offers liturgies, retreats, and service. We believe that courageous ministry is all about living out what students are learning at JPII each day.
