Students and Bishop Schuster pose after the South Sound Mass of the Holy Spirit.

Over 600 Catholic school students from pre-K-12th grade attended the South Sound Mass of the Holy Spirit on September 12 at Saint Martin’s University. This annual Mass kicks off the new school year by calling on an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. JPII is grateful to SMU for opening Marcus Pavilion as a worship space for the Mass and to Bishop Frank Schuster for presiding, along with all the clergy present in support of local Catholic schools.

Thank you to the students, faculty, and staff of St. Mary School in Aberdeen, St. Joseph School in Chehalis, Holy Family School in Lacey, and St. Michael Parish School in Olympia for joining JPII in prayer. May God bless South Sound Catholic School students!
