JPII High School is proud to announce that seniors Amy and Caleb have been named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program. This recognition highlights their academic achievement and places them among the nation’s top high school scholars.

What It Means to Be a National Merit Commended Student

The National Merit Scholarship Program is one of the most prestigious academic recognitions in the United States. Commended Students like Amy and Caleb rank among the top 50,000 scorers nationwide on the PSAT/NMSQT®, out of over 1.3 million test takers.

While Commended Students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, they are still considered for a variety of special scholarships sponsored by businesses and organizations. Their recognition is a testament to their academic promise, dedication, and hard work.

JPII’s Commitment to Student Success

JPII is dedicated to providing students with an education that prepares them for college and beyond. Recognition in the National Merit Scholarship Program reflects both Amy and Caleb’s individual efforts and the supportive, college-prep environment at JPII.
