We are proud to announce that Braeden Neal has been appointed Principal and Head of School at Pope John Paul II High School, effective July 23, 2025. The decision, shared by the Board of Directors, marks a new chapter in the school’s leadership and is rooted in a shared commitment to faith, excellence, and community.

Mr. Neal’s appointment as Principal and Head of School at Pope John Paul II High School comes after a year of dedicated service as acting Principal. In that time, he demonstrated unwavering dedication to the mission and values of JPII, and cultivated a meaningful connection with both students and faculty. His passion for Catholic education, collaborative leadership style, and faith-filled vision for the future make him an ideal leader for the years ahead.

“I am incredibly humbled and blessed to accept the position of Principal and Head of School,” said Mr. Neal. “From the moment I joined this school family, I have felt nothing but supported and warmly welcomed into the community.”

As Principal and Head of School, Mr. Neal will oversee the full scope of school management and operations and will report directly to the Board of Directors. Board Chair Rob Panowicz shared, “This appointment reflects the Board’s continued focus on advancing the long-term vision of the school and our faith in Mr. Neal as a faith-centered leader.”

“I truly believe that JPII’s brightest days are still ahead,” Mr. Neal said. “We will continue to form young men and women who are intellectually strong, spiritually alive, and committed to serving the needs of others.”

The Board and school leadership are already working closely to evaluate JPII’s current structure to ensure the school is well-positioned for growth and sustainability. With Mr. Neal now officially serving as Principal and Head of School at Pope John Paul II High School, this moment offers the community a chance to move forward with unity and purpose.
