JPII Track & Field Recognized for Their Outstanding Season!

The JPII Track & Field team had an incredible 2022 season, wrapping up with the girls team winning the 1B State Champions and the boys placing 3rd!

In individual competition, senior Trevor D. ended his high school career with State titles in the 3200m and 1600m. On the girl’s side, senior Vivi K. earned a State title in the 3200m! There were numerous other fantastic performances including the girls taking five of eight podium spots in the 3200m.

In light of these incredible accomplishments, the team was recognized by the Lacey City Council for their exceptional season! This was a huge honor and most definitely well deserved!
