How I teach and why I support the JPII mission:

I believe in the “power of yet” and having a growth mindset. My goal is to support and challenge students with engaging material and encourage them to take charge of their learning process. I am eager to accompany students in their Catholic faith and motivate them to have a closer relationship with God.

About my previous experiences:

In 2016 I decided to forego a career in environmental engineering, to instead focus on my true passion of education. Since then I have been teaching at private schools as a math & science teacher, where I have been responsible for creating engaging and interactive curriculum for high school students.

I hail from:

Columbia

In my spare time:

When not studying or working, I enjoy visiting new places and learning about different cultures, reading, and watching uplifting stories – especially those based on real-life events. I also love dancing and cooking authentic Colombian food. Being able to share it with family and friends, and help them learn more about my culture is very special to me.
