How I teach and why I support the JPII mission:

I am humbled to have the opportunity to walk with young people in their relationship with God. As history and theology teacher, one of the skills I reinforce most is helping students support both written and spoken arguments with evidence. I am convinced that every single person has unique gifts, and I love helping students believe this too.

About my previous experiences:

I worked as a parish minister in Kalamzoo, MI for two years before teaching at a classical liberal arts school in San Antonio, TX. I spent the following five years at Holy Family School in Lacey before transitioning to JPII last year.

I hail from:

Lacey, WA

In my spare time:

I have a lifelong love of travel and hiking; I try to every day find some time to drink tea (or coffee!) and read. Recently during the COVID lockdown I also discovered an affection for house plants!
