Students Today...
Leaders Tomorrow
Pope John Paul II High
School will inspire the young men and women who begin
the task of crafting their future. Combining rigorous
academics, a faith and values-based environment, and
a program of civic and community service will develop
knowledgeable, confident, compassionate and
courageous leaders in keeping with the memory of the
school's namesake.
If our community is to continue to compete in an increasingly global economy, it is imperative that we inspire students to achieve at the highest academic levels. To this end, Pope John Paul II High School will provide a 4-year, accredited, college preparatory curriculum that meets the outstanding academic needs of the South Sound, including an extraordinary commitment to mathematics and the sciences. The curriculum will also leverage the innate assets of our surrounding communities, with special emphasis in foreign language and the arts.
However, the mandate of Catholic education goes further than academic excellence. The academic program will be delivered in a faith and values-based environment that is open and welcoming to all young men and women, Catholic or otherwise, who might benefit from the excellence of its programs. Pope John Paul II High School will prepare its graduates to use their educational experience for the betterment of their community and world.
Through a comprehensive program of public and community service, Pope John Paul II High School students will put into everyday practice the themes of human dignity, social justice, and civic responsibility.

The high school years are a critical time of a student's life, a time marked by its great potential for academic, spiritual, civic and personal growth. A time when students' futures are being crafted through a myriad of experiences.
While the South Sound region is blessed with quality public and private high schools, Pope John Paul II High School will provide a new option for families, offering the Catholic school tradition of academic excellence in a faith and values-based environment.
Our mission is to provide a challenging spiritual, academic and co-curricular environment that will develop young men and women who are intellectually competent, spiritually alive and committed to serving the needs of others.
