Rebuilding Together Thurston County

What if you were elderly or disabled - maybe needed to use a wheelchair or walker or your eyesight just isn't what it used to be or you are rehabilitating from military service or you work a full-time, low-paying job and have a disabled child AND you live independently in a home you love, are comfortable with and are happy in your familiar neighborhood. But now, gutters on your home are overflowing with debris or your heat bill was so high this year that you chose to pass on some medication in order to pay the bill or there is a leak in your roof right above your kitchen window and you have no business on a ladder. RTTC can restore hope and comfort. We climb the ladder to clean those gutters, patch the roof, seal the windows - and even take trash to the landfill.

Sacred Heart Emergency Outreach

Would you like to help with an organization who helps those less fortunate? Are you a caring, friendly, non-judgmental person who wants to help sort, package, distribute food or services to those who come? Are you able to smile, cheerfully serve, are a good listener and/or are bilingual? Do you have food to donate? Emergency Outreach is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-3PM to serve those who need assistance. It is run by members of our church, but is also helped by other churches in the area. Its mission is to serve men, women and children in need of spiritual, emotional or physical assistance, regardless of age, race, gender, language or religion. A system of confidential records is maintained.
